Transforming mobility around major waterways using design, sustainable energy, and technology.

OUR STORY

Our unique team of naval architects, electrical engineers, investment managers, competitive sailors and environmental activists founded e-Link in 2018 in Bermuda. We designed our shuttle boats to meet future scale of production demands and to encompass sustainability principles aligned with a circular economy. The founders are united by one goal: to build and advance eco-friendly small-scale, fully electric, cost-efficient shuttle boats that meet net-zero climate change goals and withstand marine and weather conditions around the world.

Our vision is to introduce a ferry/water taxi shuttle platform that can easily be deployed in major waterways around the world by ensuring our vessel design meets major ship classifications and regulatory requirements. e-Link has forged relationships with ferry/water taxi operators, suppliers and technology partners to ensure our solution can be functional in the respective economic locations targeted.

e-Link Shuttle will provide a wholly unique experience for passengers and its operators who can rest assured that their e-Link ride won’t include unwanted air and noise pollution but instead will contribute to carbon-neutral goals. Fossil-fuel vessels must be rapidly phased out. Coastal and inland Metropolitan areas can lead on clean water transportation that has multiple benefits, including minimal noise and clean air and water. We can boast that we have a low-cost, low-carbon operation. There are so many benefits, not least is the minimal maintenance and operating costs.  Additionally, our shuttles will help municipal and state governments meet their climate goals. Our branding will enhance the eco-brand of an organization who adopts this mode of transport (whether it be an operator, city, or an island).

We are currently in talks with Ferry / Water Taxi operators who are servicing short to medium distance routes and/or ‘last mile’ lite cargo delivery around major urban waterways. These operators are seeking environmentally friendlier ways to create better human mobility and delivery methods within their existing and future locations . We have also engaged with a network of Hotel Properties who collectively wanted to provide private shuttle services as part of their hotel amenity programs to enhance their guest experience and their environmental brand aspirations. We also witnessed Commercial Property Developers around in-land waterways wanting to provide alternative private shuttle experience to improve the commute to/from their properties and enhancing the tenancy and their tenant’s environmental footprint.

There are four drivers that define why the e-Link Shuttle makes a great deal of sense today.
